Birse Metro has won a £4m variation on its Dalston Western Curve project, part of the East London Line for TfL.

 

The variation is for track drainage including a pumping station, mechanical and electrical works, structural steel waybeams supporting track over Thames Water sewers, a reinforced concrete track slab including stage 1 & 2 concrete, trackworks, and conductor rails.

 

All of the works are to be undertaken within the original programme dates for the project, which began in September 2009, and are due to be completed by August 2010, running concurrently with other works on site.
